The Knotty Burl is a husband and wife team established in 2016. We live and work in the beautiful Madison, Wisconsin area with our seven year old and 5 month old sons and fluffy mutt Dexter. Our company began out of our home garage at 510 Nightingale Lane, and we pride ourselves on products made from quality woods. Adam's creative brain started the whole company with the idea of making a growth chart ruler that looks like an authentic vintage ruler of the past, and we've successfully patented this design.
